WHY FORGING?

As the most basic way, forging dies that constitute the most important part of forging products are put together and expanded sides of the part to be forged are subjected to permanent forming until it touches the sides of die. Afterwards there occurs the burr that is the material remaining after forging process on the pres die and burrs rapidly cool down and show an increased resistance against deformation while becoming a part of the tool. It also helps flowing of material by creating a pressure in the volume of part that is forged and ready to be processed.
Forging press style called as closed die forging in forging presses is independent on formation of burrs. Design of die generates a cavity that can prevent or minimize more material loss and such style of die is more preferred for our design.
